We are a team of dry aged beef enthusiasts who is committed in bringing the gold standard of dry aged beef to everyone. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality, reasonably priced beef regardless of budget. We work with trusted partners to bring you high quality beef in a variety of cuts and price points, allowing you to enjoy an elevated experience in any preparation style in the comfort of your home

Our Story

Our journey begins in early 2021 when we couldn’t find a good quality accessible yet not overpriced dry aged beef. We couldn’t find a single place that will allow us to purchase a Dry aged steak on demand without the need to pre-order and without spending a premium price on a non-premium steak. We decided to open a small shop to dry age beef for ourself and our friends. The first time we Dry Aged our steaks to 30 days, we were over the moon and decided that we are going to take it to the next level.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t age our beef to our standards beyond 45 days without it developing the “funky” aromas and flavors, some like it, we don’t. These aromas and flavors are a sign of contamination, and we believe that a steak should taste as a steak without overwhelming rancid flavors.

It took us 6 months and a lot of trial and error to develop the correct technique in order to get the best results from each and every cut. We made it, we opened our doors for walk in customers in November 2021 with a clear mission to make dry aged beef accessible to all, at any day and any price point. We are the only place in Singapore that cuts dry aged beef to order with a very wide verity of cuts from 20 days aged, all the way up to 200 days aged cuts. Grass fed, Grain Fed, Aussie Wagyu, Japanese Wagyu, USDA and more.

We are enthusiasts and perfectionist; we will never sell a steak that we wouldn’t pay for personally. We love beef!

Our Products and Pricing

A part of our mission, is to make dry aged beef accesible for everyone regardless of budget, thus we have a very wide price range. Prices are per 100g and for net weight after aging and trimming.

All of our steaks are priced based on up to 45 days of aging, we charge $1 per 100g for every additional 15 days of aging beyond 45 days due to the extra loss on moisture and trimmings (the more the meat is aged the less of it is left).

I was there for the first time and Victor was very keen to explain the various cuts and his dry-aging process. His enthusiasm got me excited and I came home with a 1 kg slab of 36 day dry-aged Wagyu Porterhouse. Cooked using reverse sear. My family and I enjoyed the steak so much! Tender, flavorful with no funk. I will definitely be back.

For those who love their beef and have a discerning taste, Maturo is THE place to get your dry aged cuts. The melt in your mouth wagyu and super prime meats are reasonably priced compared to having them at restaurants. Simple preparation is needed with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, sear for a few minutes on each side on a hot pan and you're ready to serve. Doesn't take very long to cook.

Chanced upon MATURO today, a stall that specializes in Dry Aged Beef. I was blown away by the warm hospitality by Fahmi & Victor. They were so genuine and kind to share with me more insights about dry aged beef. I was even able to sample their Argentina Ribeye 🤩 It was heavenly 👌🏻
